Large Upcycled Retro Chest of Drawers with Skull Print

Vintage, retro chest of drawers/tallboy with hairpin legs. The chest of drawers, made in the 1960s, has been upcycled and fitted with new black hairpin legs for a cool, retro industrial look.

The chest of drawers has been painted black and a bespoke skull print was applied on the drawer fronts and they were sealed with layers of lacquer. The drawers received new, black iron pulls and the drawer sides were treated with a dark tinted wax to enhance the rustic look of the piece.

A stunning vintage chest of drawers, lovingly upcycled while keeping all its original features. The chest of drawers has been painted black, slightly distressed and waxed; the original hardware and castor wheels have been painted copper, to truly bring the piece into the 21st century.

The chest of drawers has one smaller and two larger drawers, all with dovetail joints, which have been left in their original vintage state.

Two of the four castors are not spinning properly but the chest of drawers can still be easily rolled/moved.

All our pieces are carefully refinished to a high standard but please be aware that you are purchasing 50+ year old preloved furniture. They will not be brand new and will bear some minor signs of their age.

DELIVERY

Collection is welcome from Chelmsford, Essex. We deliver within 100 miles of Essex for a flat fee of £50 using a reliable one-man service. The Courier will need a little help on your side; if you’d like a 2-men delivery option, please contact us for a quote. For deliveries further afield and to Wales, Scotland and Ireland please ask for a quote before buying.
